At Hang Loose Homes, we offer our farm-fresh, grass-fed, and grass-finished beef at $4.90 per pound, based on hanging weight. This price ensures that you’re getting clean, high-quality meat raised without added hormones.
What’s Included:
When you purchase 1/4, 1/2, or a full portion of beef, here’s what you can typically expect to take home:
- Steaks: Ribeye, Sirloin, T-Bone, and Tenderloin cuts for a variety of flavors and tenderness.
- Roasts: Chuck roasts, rump roasts, and sirloin tip roasts perfect for slow cooking.
- Brisket: A whole or halved brisket, ideal for barbecuing or smoking.
- Ground Beef: Often making up 30-40% of your total cuts.
- Other Cuts: Soup bones, stew meat, fajita cuts, and short ribs can also be included, depending on how you choose to process the beef.
What to Expect:
1. Deposit: A deposit saves your spot for a quarter, half, or full beef.
2. Custom Processing: You can work directly with the processor to customize your cuts, packaging, and preferences.
3. Take-Home Weight: The take-home weight is typically around 70% of the hanging weight, meaning if you purchase a half, you could expect about 175-250 lbs of packaged beef, depending on your chosen cuts.
Our beef is processed locally, and you have the option to pick up from the processor or arrange for delivery.
